SonShine Adventures is an exciting fun-filled hour and a half that includes dynamic bible lessons, games, and crafts. This action packed time also includes songs, scripture memory, review games, and other activities focused on the lesson’s theme. In this time, we hope to build connections and plant seeds of faith that these students can cultivate for years to come.
SonShine Adventures is an afterschool program held from 3:30-5pm for students in kindergarten through fifth grade every Monday that school is in session, following the USD 243 calendar. For more information, please contact Hannah Peters (office secretary) or our program director, Wendy Charboneau.

Hello. My name is Wendy Charboneau and I am the Chair of Children’s Ministries. I have 6 children and 3 grandchildren. I have been involved with this ministry for over 20 years and in several churches around the country during my 20 years of Naval Service. My Focus is to start our younger children with a strong foundation in Christ. Always having fun and making them seek more of the Spirit.
